Dr. Jessica Anthony, Principal

Hi Davenport A+ students and families! I am looking forward to another GREAT school year at Davenport A+! This is my 5th year as Principal at Davenport A+ and I could not be more proud to be part of such an amazing and talented group of teachers, students, and community.

Here's a little bit about me! I attended UNC Chapel Hill for undergrad and have a BA in Spanish Language/Literature and a BA Political Science. I received my Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction as well as School Administration from Appalachian State University. In 2021, I received my Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Liberty University. Prior to my principalship here, I taught all levels of high school Spanish for 8 1/2 years before becoming an Assistant Principal at West Caldwell and spent 3 years there. 

I like to run and bike in what spare time I have, but I mostly spend as much time as possible with my husband, our 2 boys, and Lucy - our spoiled English Bulldog.

I am honored to be a part of the Davenport A+ family and community. Davenport A+ really is the BEST place to be!
